A 36 x 48 x 2 inch original oil on canvas of two universes meeting. One is very dark and almost Gothic and the other is very light and very enticing. On the left, a white bird has broken through from the dark side and on the right, dark birds can be seen watching her flight above a beautiful calm sea. There is a beach of red sand and blue waves lapping on the shore. The dark paint is a dark purple and very textured, The light side is smoother in contrast. This is a painting about the urge to keep fighting to get to the place you wish to be. It is optimistic and it demonstrates that things can always get better. If you have ever read Jonathon Livingston Seagull you will probably relate to this painting.
